The immediate landscape around a property is of equal importance to a building’s interior and exterior aesthetic. We deliver continuity from indoors to out, echoing the character of a space and place.

By ecoscaping rather than landscaping, we place a focus on designing gardens that are biodiverse, forming habitats for nature and providing significant human health benefits. The integration of water, places for wildlife, and native and productive planting feature alongside considerations such as green roofs, living walls, and permeable surfaces.

We consider the way outdoor spaces relate to the home, defining particular areas or outdoor rooms. Mapping literal and metaphorical pathways that excite your senses and framing more natural, ecologically abundant views.

“Designing with a balance of practicality and creativity ensures the garden is an effortless extension of the home. The garden should provide places to relax and entertain as well as space in which to seek sanctuary and privacy. It should also be a place that’s in balance with the natural world.”

Our team is skilled in carving out areas of outside spaces for biodiversity. That may be the planting of mini orchards, the creation of vegetable or kitchen gardens, the dedication of areas for the keeping of chickens, the planting of trees, or the digging of a pond.

An emphasis on low maintenance gardens remains but each landscape invites the greatest amount of biodiversity.

Restricting the domination of the larger, manicured lawn is a core commitment. In their place, we incorporate wildflower meadows or leave areas to re-wild.

We personally supervise all aspects of the ecoscaping, from design to construction to planting.

Working collaboratively with skilled horticulturalists and artisans, our team will bring your dream of a bio-diverse garden to life.

“Charlotte also planned and managed the landscaping of the surrounding areas and gardens in which we now home a vast amount of natural wildlife.”
